okay so who remembers this post
well
it turns out that my neighbor, who I lived next to for three months, has a tumblr and is an artist as well and is generally just a really awesome person and we lived next to each other for three fucking months without talking to each other
we finally met in the second semester when a couple of my friends and I were watching X-Men: First Class
Christina wandered in and started watching it with us, and then she started talking about how Azazel is Kurt Wagner’s father and I kinda perked up because hey, this girl that I vaguely recognize has comic book knowledge
and then the beach scene happened and she started singing ‘WE COULD HAVE HAD IT AAAAAAAAA-AAA-AAAAALL’ and I knew that I had to be friends with this wonderful person at all costs
moral of the story: if you hear your neighbor listening to Hetalia, go and talk to that beautiful mofo because you share a common interest and will become the best of friends
ROLLING ON THE BEEEEAAAACH!
True story guys
oh my gosh Aerin! I went exploring your art tag and saw this and the one about me playing disney songs and i was just like nooo past!Aerin, past!Christina would welcome you with open arms!
I’m so glad that I crashed your movie watching and started singing and even more glad that you joined in and we realized that we were neighbors and both liked comics and bbc and our mutual nerditry pierced through the veil of awkward shyness and gave us this awesome friendship <3

buahahahahahahahahahah, i think the real morale of the story is that if kash says you should do something, just do it.
